Light Seals for Olympus OM10/OM1/OM2 Camera. Although the light seals have been designed specially for the OM10, the similar design of the OM20, OM30, OM1 and OM2 cameras mean that the light seals also fit them.

Old light seals often degrade leaving sticky and ineffective seals that need to be replaced. This set of light seals are made from neoprene which is a adurable material and widely used for replacing light seals. The seals are backed with sticky back adhesive with a removable backing to allow for quick and easy application to the camera. They are custom laser cut parts and not Olympus brand parts, however do the job perfectly. Each sheet is 180mm x 90mm and has 3 sets of light seals so don’t worry if you make any mistakes!

Application Instructions

Clean out old light seals. Use rubbing alcohol to remove the sticky residue that the degraded light seals leave behind.

BE CAREFUL AS CAMERAS SUCH AS THE OM10 HAVE BREATHERHOLES BELOW THE VIEWFINDER EYEPIECE THAT CAN LET FLUIDS INTO THE PRISM WHICHYOU DON’T WANT TO DO!

Once the areas are clean and dry, remove the new light seals from the sheet and remove the backing to the sticky back. Refer to the photos of where to apply each shape. Wetting the sticky side will allow you to move the light seals on the camera once you have placed them.

Allow 24 hours for the light seals to dry before closing the door and using the camera. Please note that as the neoprene has been laser cut, the cut sides can have some residue on them, however it can be easily removed if it gets on hands etc.
