The Ranger tripod series from Leofoto consists of a series of professional travel stands with a very robust design. The main difference between the ordinary Ranger carbon stands and the Ranger Leveling tripods is in the built-in leveling base with a maximum of 15 degrees of tilt. As a result, the Leveling carbon stands are ideal for panorama work and video filmmakers. You can adjust the tripod head perfectly horizontally without having to adjust the tripod legs in length after you have placed the tripod. This carbon stand is supplied with a handy carrying bag, a set of spikes and a multitool.
Leofoto LS-284CEX Ranger Tripod
The Leofoto LS-284CEX Ranger is a sturdy tripod made of 10 layers of cross-woven and reinforced carbon fiber, ensuring an extremely stable, reliable yet lightweight tripod. The carrying capacity is 8 kilograms while the tripod itself only 1,32 kilograms excluding tripod head, including leveling base. The maximum working height is 148 centimeters and the minimum working height is 85cm. When folded, the Leofoto LS-284CEX carbon stand is only 50.5 centimeters long and fits easily in a suitcase or in a photo backpack.
Twistlock screw lock
The carbon tripod legs consist of four smoothly extendable sections with a leg diameter of up to 28mm and a minimum of 19mm. Thanks to the ingenious twistlock system, the legs can be loosened and secured in a simple snap, even with one hand. The tripod legs are equipped with rubber feet, and for a more stable grip on any surface you can change them for the included stainless steel spikes.
