In the later stage of the War, the situation goes to the worse on the German side, Germans have to patch together more and more weapons and equipment from pieces, 38T Infantry-Support Vehicle is one of these scratched-up weapons

The Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) was originally a Czech tank of pre-World War II design. After Czechoslovakia was taken over by Germany, it was adopted by the German Army, seeing service in the invasions of Poland and Russia. Production ended in 1942 when its armament was deemed inadequate. In all, over 1400 were manufactured. The chassis continued to be produced for Hetzer and Marder III tank destroyers, turretless assault guns, anti-tank guns, and anti-aircraft guns.

The (t) stands for tschechisch, the German word for Czech; the Czechoslovak military designation was LT vz 38. The manufacturer`s designations included TNH series, TNHPS, LTP and LTH). The special vehicle designation for the tank in Germany was Sd.Kfz. 140. Removal of turrets from Panzer 38(t) tanks for conversion of the chassis to tank destroyer and other uses freed 351 turrets for use in fortifications in various locations.

The 7.5 cm KwK 37 L/24 (7.5 cm Kampfwagenkanone 37 L/24) was a German 75 mm tank gun used during World War II, primarily as the chief weapon of the Panzer IV tank, the newly deployed variants of Panzer IV had the gun replaced with the new longer barreled 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/48. Older guns were reused for the remainder of the war, and were used to arm Panzer III tanks and infantry support half-tracks.

German took 7.5cm KwK37 gun from battle-damaged III tank, 251/9 and other half-tracks and then put it on repaired and reused damaged 38T light tank chassis since the 38T are small, mobile and easy to go anywhere with Infantry, and KwK37 7.7cm gun was designed as a weapon for use against fortifications (hence the relatively short barrel), sometimes use as siege-howitzer, and also was effective against the early tanks of the war, and with add on MG 42 machine gun and radio, this combination is great for Infantry-Support and also a special reconnaissance vehicle.
