PHYSIQUE PICTORIAL by AMG - Vol. XIII, No. II, released in October 1963. Vintage beefcake magazine created by one of the best physique photographers: Bob Mizer.

Pictures of Doug Rommell, Art Byman, handsome David Mineric, Don Fuller, Lon Gilbert, Ken Cunningham, Jerry Richards and other models. In page 3 some pics and info about cover model Monte Hansen who despite his physical attractiveness he had temperamental and unreliability traits. Contributions of Champion, Troy Saxon & Scott of London, pages 19-21. Troy Saxon Studio was based on Kansas City, MO. The owner's name comes frequently as "Pinky" or "Stu" Phineas Stuart Rosenberg Jr. The intriguing part is the identity of the main model of the studio: he was also named Troy Saxon (see page 19). Were Pinky Rosenberg and Troy Saxon the same person? Let me know if you guys have any info that can elucidate this matter. Rosenberg seemed to be also the discoverer of the model and later actor Gary Conway. Back cover was designed by famous science fiction writer and artist Morris Scott Dollens. Art by Tom of Finland.

Unused condition with inadequate storage flaws as some eroding on spine, soiling, bald spots, slightly frayed edges, darkened areas, bumping, worn corners, etc. Very good condition for its age, complete and keeping some shape. Please contact me for any questions. Thanks

Usually most of these vintage magazines have rusty staples and a musty smell, they are almost a trademark of the age. Please contact me for any question. Thanks.
