Paired with a high quality freewheel, this hub set offers an affordable alternative to cassette hubs. To this day the Revolver remains a trusted and proven product. Some key features include precision sealed bearings, chromoly 3/8" axle, aluminum bearing collars, aluminum axle nuts, laser etched logo, fits 16, 17, 0r 18 tooth freewheels. 1. Is this a cassette hub? No, this is a classic freewheel style hub set, and uses a freewheel.
2. What is the hub engagement or points of engagement? Engagement points will depend, and vary based on what freewheel you decide to use.
3. Do you offer freewheels? Yes, we offer freewheels from ACS, and WHITE INDUSTRIES.
4. What is the axle size? Axle size diameter is 3/8", and will fit bicycles that have 3/8" or 10mm dropouts.
5. Can I use this hub set on a frame that has 14mm dropouts? Yes, you can use these on a frame that has 14mm dropouts, but you will need to purchase and use adapters.
6. Which threads use which freewheel size? The smaller threads use 13 tooth through 15 tooth, and larger threads use 16 tooth through 22 tooth.
