Sale Price 1950s 60s Evening Gown Pink Silver Tall Tulle Lace Ribbon Mr Winfried

A sparkling column, see-through, so you'll need an appropriate slip.
Mr. Winfried was likely a small couturier in New York, as no history can be found.
The gown must have been a bespoke item, made to order for a fairly tall & slim woman.
The pink satin trim appears hand done.
Boatneck style, scalloped 3/4 sleeves, scalloped slit on the side with oval openings going up to the underarm.
The pink tulle lace with sparkly silver ribbon embroidery isn't stitched down flat, so it makes a frothy confectionery texture.
Some areas are a peach color, which I honestly don't know if it's due to age, or original to the fabric.
6 satin covered buttons at the back, which fasten with a thin crocheted loop.
Armpit - armpit, laid flat, 19 1/2" (x 2 for back)
It's a straight style, and measures 20" at waist (x 2 for back) & widens slightly to 21" (x 2 for back) the rest of the length.
Shoulder - shoulder 16"
Shoulder - hem 57"
Sleeve 17"
Slit 34 1/2" with 4 open ovals above it, no netting in the openings.
