Jensen Complete Refoam Kit

This kit will fit Jensen model 6 Speakers. Some of the mids have 2.25" felt dust caps and some have 2.75" felt dust caps.  The kit will come with 2.75", so let us know if you need the smaller caps.

Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed
to repair two (2) midranges and two (2) woofers:

• Refoaming Instructions
• Two 8" Foam Surrounds (F8-2)
• Two 15" Foam Surrounds (F15-5)
• Shims for centering the 1.5" voice coils
• Two 2.75" Felt Dust Caps for the Mids (If you need 2.25", let us know)
• Two 3.75" Felt Dust Caps for the Woofers
• 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive

*It can be difficult to refoam a speaker without removing the dust cap and inserting the plastic shims.  The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed.  If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing.

8″ Mids
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 7.75″
B – Roll ends = 6.938″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 6″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 5.5″

15″ Woofers
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 14.625″
B – Roll ends = 13.5″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 12.19″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 11.69″
Flat attachment to the cone
