Description: This is an OEM GM Generator that is factory correct for all 1956-57 Chevrolet Passenger Cars (note the exceptions above). The part is used and is being sold as a core and as-is for Parts or Restoration Purposes. It does have some minor wear from age and usage. The pulley and armature do spin with some very minor resistance, but it is not seized up. This generator has solid mounts, it's 12-volt and 25 amp. The date code stamped on the tag reads "6D4" (April 4th of 1956).
