This is a great item for use in custom craft/school projects, use your imagination.  Shredded long strands of Genuine US currency, Half Pound, that's 8 ounces stuffed into a one gallon ziplock bag.  The zip bag weighs approx. 9.5 grams and the entire package will weigh 236 grams so you are not buying the weight of the bag and you will receive 226.4+ grams of product.  This is the long strands and not that cross cut chopped up confetti.  Most if not all the notes were cut lengthwise so many serial numbers and date/series remain identifiable.  The weight of individual notes is 0.965 gram so this bag contains approx. 216+ US currency notes.  Everything looks to be from green seal new notes.  Pictures show exactly what you are getting.
