  •  ➥ In this issue, Gaidt et al. (1110-1124) report the role of the cGAS-STING axis in driving a lysosomal cell death program to activate the NLRP3 inflammasome during cytosolic DNA sensing in human myeloid cells.  The cover art is inspired by the ability of STING signaling to drive death and inflammation, whereby DNA initiates a powerful dance of the cGAS-STING pathway to ignite an explosive destruction depicting lysosomal cell death and inflammasome activation.  Artwork by Atelier Uta Polster.
