Holmes & Edwards inlaid silverplate set of 35 pieces and very nice wood storage box. Youth pattern. 1940's era. All pieces are monogrammed, I can't decide what letter it is, maybe D, B, C or G. The company used a unique process to inlay sterling silver in high wear locations. Then the entire piece was silver-plated. This process was patented, and the term inlaid silver was trademarked. Holmes & Edwards Inlaid back stamp. Condition is good, with wear consistent with age. I have not polished.
