These vintage John Bull magazines are a wonderful resource of post-war Britain - giving insight to contemporary thought and ideas. The illustrations, in particular the covers, are fantastic. There are articles and serialisation of many well-known authors’ works, both fiction and non-fiction. And the advertisements are great, too!
In this issue:
- Cover: Arthur Nash
- Duel in the sea by John Kruse

- Hardwick’s cameras record the variety of life by Ronald Clark - Henden Hardwick

Condition: The magazine is in very good condition, showing reading wear and some creasing to the covers, plus a newagent’s delivery address written on the cover. Given that the magazine is over 60 years old, its condition is pretty good, but certainly not perfect! The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.
I accept returns, and if you’d like any further information, just ask!
