Up for auction/sale is a Vintage Japanese Art Piece. It features a wading stork and another stork flying by the sea shell nest with 2 eggs. It is small in size, but big in its appeal. The storks are made from pine cones with a carved and brightly painted head plumage. The base is 4-1/8" x 2-5/16". The total height is 4-5/8". According to the seller, who purchased this in the late 1990s, he has never encountered another one of these and he lived in Japan for several years. This is possibly one-of-a-kind.
