Main Features:
• This is a high-quality, hand-made, finely tuned and balanced motor which incorporates “floating” magnetic bearings which are almost frictionless allowing for high RPM.
• Working Principle: When one of the 6 neodymium magnets comes into close proximity of the Hall element, current is sent to the copper wire field coil creating a repulsive magnetic field and causing the Armature to rotate. This action is replicated over and over to create a rotating Armature.
• This Motor uses a modular design, electronic drive circuit and an integrated coil.
• The Motor will arrive finished, assembled and tested motor (NOT a KIT). Just add power (power supply provided) to use. Note: it can also be powered by a 9V Battery using a harness with a barrel connector.
• Spins at Impressive Speeds: Using the 12V (supplied) you can expect speeds in excess of 3500 RPM and when using a 9V Battery speeds in excess of 3000 RPM are possible.
• This Motor is also good for educational demonstrations and suitable for students to learn about motor principles and Hall Effect Sensors while stimulating their interest in science.
