A fantastic handwoven fiber artist jacket and matching scarf from Barbara Perry.
Perry is is a Vermont fiber artist -I've read uses silk, rayon and wool from many countries and, occasionally, wool from her own sheep. I'm listing a few other jacket from this artist...special, unique details....take a look at the other items if you enjoy fiber art....
This is a unique woven silk jacket. Handwoven gray, black, and red-burgundy throughout the weave. One button front. Its back, sides, and sleeve ends are a crinkled funky black silk. The jacket has interesting cut-aways on the sleeves that give a touch of the contrasting red silk. The jacket is fully lined in either polyester or acetate.
The scar is matching and fully backed with the black crinkled silk. It's a modernist blend of the weaving and silk.
Medium-weight, luxuriously soft. This piece has no sizes marked, however, comes from a closet of medium clothing. It may also work for a "L" too as the cut is a bit oversized.
Rich and elegant, this is a fine fiber art jacket. Please inquire with any questions or concerns.
Hand-Made, No material tags, likely rayon and silk, maybe a touch of wool in the weave
Excellent condition with the exception of some light darkening/whitening on the inside collar, likely needing a cleaning and I've reduced $150 because of this...it will not be seen while worn, however, needs to be noted for full disclosure.
