Mike Mulligan And His Steam Shovel 1st Ed 1st Print With Date 1939 both on the title page and on the copyright page making this a first ed. There is no dj for this copy of the book  I have

Thethe bottom of the front illustrated end page has an inscription dated and signed by a former owner. There is also a book plate at the top of the same by by the foredge.  1 page has a small pencil mark at the bottom. Another few pages have creases at the bottom another page has a light stain.

Please see all photos I have posted of the book. On the last illustrated page at the bottom by the gutter there is a small tear.

The corners of the book are bumped and bent. The spine has some wear at the top and bottom and by the side. There are small stains on the back board and the front board looks like it was sunned at the top.
