The $50 purchase is a non-refundable diagnostic fee, the $50 will be applied to the final repair cost. Most amplifier repairs will be $350 plus shipping.  This particular service listing is for the DD series subwoofer amplifier. I use only the highest quality electronic components so the amplifier's audio quality is not compromised in the slightest.   

- This is a mail in service i.e. you ship me your subwoofer's amp plate, I repair it and ship it back. 

- The turnaround time depends on the current work load and can fluctuate from 1 to 6 weeks. In some cases parts will need to be ordered and the turnaround time can take longer depending on where the components are coming from.  

- The buyer is responsible for shipping to and from, return shipping will be added to the final invoice which is settled via PayPal prior to the amp plate being sent back. 

- I have created an instructional YouTube video of how to safely remove the amplifier from the cabinet. In the YouTube search bar paste the following: How to safely remove the amplifier from your Velodyne DD subwoofer.

- If anyone has previously worked on the subwoofer's amplifier it is important to that you convey that to me. If I receive an amplifier that has been worked on without prior notice I may or may not be willing to do the repair, I don't want an amateur's sloppy seconds; sloppy being the key word. That being said, I usually don't mind working on an amp that a professional has worked on. 

- I warranty all parts replaced for 6 months following return shipment. I am an advocate for using power conditioners, clean and constant voltage to your equipment goes a long way and can extend the life of your amplifier! I will not accept a warranty claim that was caused by a surge.
