Offered for sale is a nice game worn jersey from the Air Force Falcons hockey team.  This jersey is one of dozens that we acquired which were in storage for nearly a decade and are now being made available for the first time.  This jersey is from the home / white set which was used 2008-09. Produced by Gemini, one of the true innovators of jersey manufacturers, this jersey incorporates pro quality features such as double layer shoulder yokes, reinforced elbows, sewn multi-layer twill cresting and numbers.  The Atlantic Hockey patch is sewn on the right chest and the Gemini logo is embroidered directly to the left chest.  The cresting and numbers are multi-layer sewn twill material. The nameplate (original, never removed) is single color twill sewn to a nameplate which is in turn sewn to the jersey.  (Finding an AF jersey with the original nameplate still attached is fairly rare.)

This jersey was worn by #3, Brad Sellers. Sellers was a sophomore during one of Air Force's most memorable seasons.  After capturing the regular season Atlantic Hockey title, the cadets swept to an Atlantic Hockey Tourney Championship with a two shutout wins over Bentley (3-0) and Mercyhurst (2-0).  They advanced to the NCAA tourney where they posted a third consecutive goose egg, shutting out #3 ranked Michigan 2-0 in the Semi-Final.  The Falcons season would come to an end the following night, losing to #11 Vermont in double overtime 3-2 in the East Regional Final.

Brad played in 38 of 41 games that season, scoring 12 assists. He was a four-year regular for the Falcons appearing in 144 games during his time at Air Force scoring 35 points. The jersey is tagged as size 56 and has great wear including some board burns, pilling of the jersey body and one large repair to the left of the front crest.
