To operate safely: Before first use, remove all packaging. Turn scales over and pull out plastic tab from the battery compartment. Place scale on hard, flat even surface (not on a carpet or rug otherwise the scales may not display the correct weight). Stand squarely and gently on the scale, without leaning forward or backwards, to distribute the weight evenly.

Cleaning your scale: Clean the exterior with a soft damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly. Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaners or detergents as this could damage the scale.

If the battery compartment does not close properly please do not use the scales and please report this this matter to us. 

If batteries are swallowed please seek medical attention immediately.
