A top up will not be necessary for this sim. If you're travelling to the UK and want to purchase this in advance then that is perfect as sim can be sent as is without activation. To find out if this sim can be activated in your country please refer to Lebara's Roaming page on their website. If when entering your country you see a green coloured box stating great news then it means it can be activated in your country. If you don't see the great news green box then it means sim must be activated in UK before it can be shipped out otherwise it won't work for you.
