Early Century Postcards from Scotland in a Leather-bound Postcard Album.

I had a wonderful time reading these postcards and looking at the images from another lifetime ago. The notes inscribed are endearing, and some of the cartoon images on the postcards are priceless.

There are 30 postcards in total. One scribbled note and an antique birthday card to his wife. The booklet measures 6.75”l x 5”w.

It looks as though two of the postcards were photographed with the image of the gentleman in uniform, and one of his wife.

He may have been from the army and this was her album. I’ll let you build your own story around this album, this is only my interpretation :)

The booklet itself is in really good condition for an antique (by North American standards). The spine is solidly intact with a tough canvas material.

One of the pages holding the cards has a tear.
