Avid RC Carbon Fiber For Team Associated RC8B3 RC Buggy Front Shock Tower Part.

This Avid RC RC8B3 Front Shock Tower is made from 5mm thick 100% carbon fiber and removes the shock standoff pockets found on the stock AE shock tower. Do so, and while using the Avid -1 Aluminum Standoffs (AVD1809-1), the shock tower/standoff package removes 33% of the weight from up high compared to stock - all while retaining the same shock location as the kit tower.

Tech Notes:

It is recommended to run the Avid RC RC8B3 -1mm Aluminum Shock Standoffs so the shock angle is maintained due to the pocket being removed from this tower for the standoff. During testing, Avid found that with the pocket the CF easily splits, so they removed it.
