The item as a whole is new, but the cans are used.

Used Grade 2 US Army surplus 50 cal ammo cans. See "Item condition" for description of grade 2. All cans are fully functional with good seals and Latch. You may receive a mixture of M2A1 & M2A2. Both cans have the same measurements, M2A2 is a new design with a slightly different latch bracket. Markings on cans may vary from what is pictured. Cans are approximately 11.5"x5.5"x6.75". The ammo cans used are authentic, military ammo cans that have had field use and are un-refurbished, meaning they have have dents, dings, rust, scratches and any number of imperfections.  This product is designed to be installed in a military vehicle, not the family sunday cruiser. 

NOTE: There is not a voltage reducer as part of this item meaning if you need 12 V for example to charge a cell phone you will have to purchase our voltage reducer separately. It can easily be installed inside this item work cannot be seen. dimensions: Approximately 12" x 7" x 6"
