BSA OA Wiatava Lodge 13 Buck Knife 1988 chief's gift - GENT Model 525 #773 w/box
One Buck Knife with original box and paperwork.
CONDITION: Previously Owned. Excellent Mint Condition with a small amount of dry oil/grease or oxidation rust developing below the USA, on the blade concealed by the handle. Knife has not been used and has been stored in it's original box with it's two original pieces of paperwork.

Printed text on handle: '88 Chief's Council - the O is the Cog Totem with an Arrow through it. This logo is the lodge's totem.
Stamped/Etched text on blade: BUCK 525^ U.S.A.
Box End Text: GENT Model NO. 525 CAT. #773
The paperwork is rolled up around the knife and fits in the box. The BUCK® Knives Use & Care sheet is CL785200m PRINTED IN U.S.A. and the Insert is from Al Buck, Chairman of the Board and has his picture on it.

Some brief history: Around about 1920 Orange County Council, California (OCC) started to grow and grow. Finally in 1944 they got too big and too successful and divided into Northern Orange County Council #37 (NOCC) and Orange Empire Area Council (OEAC). NOCC changed their name in 1965 to North Orange Council #37 (NOC). In autumn of 1972 North Orange Council rejoined with Orange Empire Council (aka Orange Empire Area Council or OEC) to reform Orange County Council (aka OCC or OCBSA) #39, California. A short time later in 1973 Order of the Arrow Ahwahnee Lodge #430 of NOC merged with San Gorgonio Lodge #298 of OEC to form Wiatava Lodge #13 with their Cog Totem.
