This is an antique print of a signed drypoint etching, "Portrait of Sir Edward John Poynter," by Alphonse Legros from "The Portfolio" Vol. 8 (P. G. Hamerton) that dates to 1877.
The plate measures approx. 6 1/2" x 10", and was printed on natural laid paper with a "Van Gelder Portfolio" watermark that measures 9 1/4" x 13 3/4".
