It is inspired by famous "Seichu Gishiden" (1847-1848) japanese woodblock print series by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, dedicated to Ako Revenge ("47 loyal ronins"). This figure is Isogai Masahisa with naginata (p.10 of the series).
