Beautiful 'Grace Kelly' sort of necklace with a timeless beauty. A gorgeous necklace with its enire length set with sparkling clear cut rhinestones. At centre front there are three loops which are very flattering. The central loop has a frieze of three large stones which are a beautiful sapphire blue and the loops on either side have a single 'sapphire' inside. The stones are all claw set for safety and also an indicator of quality and the necklace is articulated to flow gracefully around the neck. It fastens with a secure ring bolt clasp.
App 16" long. (This is a great size for an older necklace but smaller than modern ones. It could be worn with an extension easily found online.) The depth at centre front is app 21 mm. The 'sapphire' crystals are app 5.5 mm in diameter and of superb quality. The necklace has been photographed in a light box because of the unreliable natural light so the stones do reflect the light more than they would just to the naked eye. They are not 'ice' white modern rhinestones. One of the clear stones has darkened with age but original. It could always be swapped with one from the end and the dark one put at the back. It does not spoil the charm of the necklace. The silver tone is in very good condition and if the necklace has been worn at all it has been treated with care.
A classic necklace in really beautiful colours which is difficult to find.

A bit about me : i worked for many years in the Antiques Trade specialising first in antique clothing and Textiles and then i specialised in Art Deco and Art Nouveau, generally glass and sculpture and metal ware. i stood at many of the top fairs eg Olympia, Claridges, The Dorchester, The NEC and bought and sold in Sothebys, Christies and Bonhams. i appeared on TV a few times as an Expert, served on Vetting Committees and so on. i gave up the Material World for a number of years whilst i concentrated on Meditation, Healing and other Spiritual endeavours but am now selling on Ebay to pay the rent :-) i really do love the pieces that pass through my hands and i enjoy 'meeting' people across the globe and feel good making them feel good. i try to follow the Reiki precepts ~ one of which is 'To earn an honest living'.
