the case is worn, the dial is in quite nice condition in my opinion can be reused for restoration.

Guarantees & Warranties:

I sell used products and I am not a store (this is my hobby).  I do not offer guarantees or warranties or returns on anything I sell unless its specified in the listing otherwise. Note that I sell used and vintage items, they are old and not new many are over 20-40+ years old and with this age comes issues, do not expect it to be in brand new working condition unless stated so in the auction listing.  Waterproof, water resistant etc.. not tested and not guaranteed.  (see time keeping and service disclaimer below)

Watches listed as parts, or repair are basically not working or as per the description are for parts, repair, need fixing.

If you have any questions please ask before placing a bid.

Old Watch and Servicing Disclaimer:

In General mechanical and vintage watches need maintenance and servicing, buyers should expect to have to bring these watches into a watchmaker the same as changing the oil in your car to keep it running although not as often as a car.  Mechanical watches are prone to damage if you hit them to hard, drop them, shake them to hard or exert any excessive force on them these have fine moving parts that are often moving at a high speed (actions such as using a mechanical watch when hammering things or punching things.. these are examples only and ).  Most watches are recommended to be serviced every 2 to 5 years, expect that you will need to do the same with any working watch.  Generally I do not know the service history of these watches unless its specifically indicated in the listing, so assume that the watch does need servicing now or in the near future.

How do vintage watches keep time?:

Vintage mechanical watches do not keep exact time like its quartz counterparts, expect that watches that we list as working and keeping time unless otherwise specified run with a deviance of  +/-  1-3 mins a day, we consider this to be acceptable for most vintage watches.  Note: we do not time our watches to “seconds lost or gained” in a day, if you need something that accurate a quartz watch is more for you and you should not be buying a vintage mechanical watch.

Watch Testing:

If the watch in the listing says its tested then I have manually wound the watch and watched it for at least 6 hours.  I do not have any sort of automatic watch winder to test automatic functions and or any machines to test the accuracy of watches, generally unless stated I have only done a manual wind test.

If it is an automatic I will generally shake the watch until it starts ticking and then watch it for an hour.  After that I will do the manual wind test as per above unless otherwise specified.

I do not test with any sort of machines or watch testing equipment and I do not test anything to the second (for example I look at my phone and thats what I set the time to on the watch to test it, it may be anywhere from 1-59 seconds difference off even from that time I start watching it).

Watch Maintenance:

Vintage watches and mechanical watches need to be services often by a certified watchmaker to keep them running well, similar to your car and oil changes.  Unless specified in the listing watches are not serviced and will need to go to a watchmaker for a checkup and service to be good time keepers and continue running smoothly.  We generally unless specified do not know the watches service history.

All items are sent Canada Post or USPS Tracked shipping with a tracking number, there are no exceptions to this policy.  You can check the Canada post website to find a general shipping rates however these changed often due to their dynamic fuel charge rates.  I always ship with the fastest postal method possible, however once its in the post it is outside of my control, do not ask me for status as I can see only what Canada post or USPS updates on the website same as what the buyer can see.
