National Board of Review Magazine V. XIV, #9 (December 1939, National Board of Review of Motion Pictures) - This 80+ year-old magazine contains articles about "What Is a Good Movie", "Fifty Years of Films," "The Roaring Twenties", "Drums Along the Mohawks" and a "Selected Pictures Guide" that showcases recommendations/descriptions of such films as "Another Thin Man," "Geronimo", "Saga of Death Valley", "Secret of Doctor Kildaire" and more.  


The cover, which has retained good reflectivity, and all pages, which are cream-colored are firmly attached.  The front cover has foxing at the top and right-hand edges, there is a water stain at the left-hand edge that extends lightly throughout the magazine to the back cover, the top and bottom portions of the staples have a minor amount of rust.
