Visual "78 RPM Album Grading Standards" as follows:

• Mint ( M ) ~ Perfect in every way. Never been played.  Normally " STILL SEALED ".
• Near Mint- ( NM- ) ~ The shellac or vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times, if ever!  May show an extremely slight surface mar.  
• Excellent ( EX ) ~ May show some slight evidence of having been played a few times.
• Very Good Plus ( VG+ ) ~ May show a few faults.  A little rub; slight audible marks; or a little background crackle may occur.  Light surface scuffs, scratches, or spindle marks may be present.  New 78 RPM record sheen has been diminished.
• Very Good ( VG ) ~ It has seen a bit of life but is still usable.  Light pops and clicks; a jacket or inner sleeve split; and/or visible scratches may be present.  Label wear is quite often present.  You can still listen to the album and enjoy looking at it; but it is visually and audibly " USED ".
• I will rarely offer a 78 RPM record that would grade below these standards.  When I do, it is strictly because of the collectability of the particular record or album.
• Any reference to an evaluation of a jacket or sleeve should be disregarded by all buyers.  Beginning 5/11/2021; eBay made it a requirement to fill the box evaluating the jacket and sleeve prior to allowing a listing to go live.  I stand by my 20 plus year history as an eBay seller of advising all buyers to evaluate all photos, and grade jackets according to their particular standards and expectations.
