Antique probably from c1880 agate and silver handled seal with a carved intaglio carnelian matrix. The agate part of the handle is a mixtures of soft purples and browns and is in square profile with chamfered corners. The silver part is decorated with a feather design. The carnelian matrix has a rose carved into it. 

It measures 3.75 cms top to bottom .

top: 0.9 cms across

Matrix: 0.8 cms across

Weight: 5 grams

Condition: Good antique condition commensurate with age and light-normal usage.
