A gorgeous antique bisque porcelain hatpin holder, beautifully decorated in soft pinks and greens, this piece is by the German company Schafer and Vater. Done in the Neoclassical style of the middle Victorian period, circa 1870's.

Overall, good condition. Some fleabites around the hatpin holes. Appears to be a little hairline running diagonally across a panel of the base, possible from production. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
