3-1/8" SPUD STYLE WRENCH

This rare box end spud style wrench is clean, the head and teeth look good and the wrench is in Very Good condition.  The round handle measures about 1.1 inches and has a spring pin on the end.  It looks like it is made the slip inside a piece of pipe or a handle to achieve more torque than the 10" handle offers.  Both of my 3-1/8" wrenches have a 1.1" handle; however, I also have a smaller wrench that has a 1" handle. Note that along with the spring pin there is also a wedge type fitting closer to the box end that does not move. The wrenches came off of a service truck that specialized in the heavy equipment repair (cranes, dump haulers, train cars, etc) at a local coal mine.  A lot of Caterpillar equipment.
