Antique Arts & Crafts Mission Fixture Large w/ Original Paint For Restoration.  This gorgeous chandelier is from a house that was built in 1925, in St. Louis, MO, that we purchased from the estate of a woman who moved there when she was 8 years old and her parents had just had the house built.  Similar chandeliers were hanging in most of the rooms.  This one was stored in the attic.  We restored the house, but could not find a good place for this one to hang.  Then, we sold the house.  I'm really glad that we took it when we purchased the house across the street from the original one and restored that house, although we never ended up installing it in the second house because we hadn't gotten it rewired.  The person who bought the first house, unfortunately lost it to foreclosure during the Great Recession.  Well, a flipper bought the house and removed all of the original light fixtures and replaced them with modern builder grade crap.  So, at least this beautiful fixture was saved.  We're in our 3rd house since the 1925 house and it was built in 1951, with lower ceilings than the original house had (9 ft) and, although I still love this fixture, we don't plan to move again.

It's time for this fixture to go back into a period appropriate house.  You can have an original 1925 light fixture to go with your own gorgeous Arts & Crafts/Mission home.

NOTE:  THE CHANDELIER SHOULD BE REWIRED FOR SAFETY.  The wiring is exposed in paces and is possibly a fire hazard.

The chandelier is approximately 16 1/2" from the top to the bottom and approximately 18" across.

There is paint missing in some places and the original shiny silver metal shows there.  One of the flowers attached to a curlicue has an amber color bead extended from it, so the others probably did too and those are missing.  Also there is a round ending on the tip of the chandelier, indicating that something is missing from the bottom of it - a grouping of amber beads would look appropriate, but I don't have any to include.  Nevertheless, it's not bad looking for a 98 year old!  Please examine photos carefully.

The main color is sort of a burnt orange/brown with touches of green and red.
