What is the different between 100mm and 120mm, 150mm and 170mm, 200mm and 220mm.....400mm and 420mm ?

They are same scale, because it can read 20mm more. For example, 100mm can read to 120mm, 150mm can read to 170mm, and its total length is same. So we called it 100mm or 120mm, same linear scale.
