HALLMARK KEEPSAKE LIONEL TRAIN CHESSIE WM CABOOSE, IN BOX, 2015.  This auction is for a keepsake ornament from Hallmark featuring the Lionel train set ornament., Chessie WM Caboose.  Famous for its daring modern paint schemes, the Chessie System burst onto the railroad scene in 1972.  B&O, C&O, and Western Maryland railroads made up the bulk of Chessie, and later the railroad merged with Seaboard Coast Line to form the CSX Corporation.  The Lionel Chessie Merger Special celebrates important railroads that were part of the Chessie System.  The classic Lionel Chessie red caboose is decorated in Western Maryland livery to complete this distinctive set.  Made of die-cast metal, in the original box, the ornament measures 2 ¼” long x 5/8” wide x a little over 1” high and weighs . 7 ounces unpackaged.  It is in excellent condition and can be displayed as a free-standing figurine or as an ornament.  (SEE IMAGES).  Shipping is $3.50 within the U.S. only.  See my other auctions (including other Hallmark Keepsake (Lionel trains, cars, trucks, lunar, planes, etc.), Carlton Card and Christmas ornaments), that can be combined to reduce postage costs.
