The Kenwood KP-1100 (identical to the KP-9010), released in Japan in 1985 during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment, is a high-quality and was a commercially successful direct drive turntable. The KP-1100 has some impressive stats, including an SNR of 90dB (DIN-B) and wow and flutter of <0.005% (FG direct reading method). In addition to its high-fidelity Kenwood heritage, the KP-1100 features a design that is both precise and solid. The Kenwood players from this era are well known for their excellent quality of sound reproduction and build quality. Furthermore, these turntables don’t have any rare or esoteric parts; they are great to own these days, as servicing is relatively painless. Don’t miss this one!
