New Orleans Cafe' du Monde print numbered and signed James Kendrick. Number 184/995. Text from picture "Cafe' Du Monde is located at the corner of Decatur and St. Ann Street, adjacent to Jackson Square in the French Quarter in historic Old New Orleans. It sits at one end of the famous French Market with the Morning Call coffee stand at the other (Morning Call has since moved to Metairie). In between still stands the farmers market, fish market, fruit, vegetable and meat market. Cafe' du Monde is famous for its special blend of New Orleans coffee and chicory and the delicious beignets (hot puffy doughnuts with powered sugar on stop). The view in this Limited-Edition Print by James L. Kendrick, III shows Cafe' du Monde as it was in the 1960's before it was renovated and the famous old sign and popular canvas canopy were removed."
