Shimano REAR Hub Replacement Axle/Cone sets MTB/DH/Tour/Trekking

The 2 numbers/letters following each item give you the corresponding *skewer* diameter for each axle set (in other words, the *internal* diameter of the hub axle):

12 = for 12mm thru-axle, 10 = for 10mm thru-axle, QR = Quick Release (5mm skewer) axle, these are normally a 10mm axle with 5mm bore.

The remaining letters in menu indicate exactly what you are buying:

AO = Axle Only. You will receive only the axle the RH cone and RH locknut, sold as a single unit. Normally there is no need to take this apart as you can fit and adjust from the left hand side. Ideal if you have good condition LH cones but a bent or broken axle.
CA = Complete Axle. You will receive the axle, LH and RH cones, all locknuts and the bearings. Everything you should need to service a hub except the grease! Ideal if have a badly worn hub. Just check your races (cups) look ok!
LHCL = Left Hand Cone and Locknut (two parts) only. Can be combined with an AO kit + bearings to make a complete CA set.

Pictures hopefully should be correct but any questions please ask before buying!

Generally the QR axles are steel and the larger through-axles are silver or gold alloy.

Genuine Shimano parts, may be retail or plain packed depending on stock available.

High quality Grade 10 bearings are also available in separate listing if you're buying parts without, or if you only need to replace bearings.

I also have a limited number of hub adapters which allow you to reduce the size of some axles to work with older frames, in some cases. Again please see my other listings for details.

Notes:

Front hub parts are listed here (please copy paste link https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155417317142 or enter the item number 155417317142 thanks!)

eBay is (at time of writing) NOT calculating delivery times correctly. These are 3 options at checkout:

These are just a guide since many of my customers are interested in riding at the weekend. Paying more for delivery *will* reduce delivery times, even if eBay doesn’t show this!
