A gorgeous terracotta Djenne pottery figure. Presumably Mali, Niger Delta, circa 15th - 17th century.

A great object for study or display, this will make a nice addition to any student or appreciators collection of African art and artifacts.

Repaired condition. Repairs present across the abdomen, along the neckline, as well as the left and right arms above the elbow. Some cracking present at the right shoulder-line. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
