Jimmy Carter 2005 Greets Navy Sailors At Kings Bay 8x10 Silver Halide Photo

Here we have an 8" x 10" photo of Jimmy Carter at the Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in Georgia, shaking hands with US Navy Chief Hospital Corpsman Michael Amador prior to departure for an overnight embarkation aboard the Sea Wolf Class Attack Submarine USS JIMMY CARTER (SSN 23). This was the first underway period on a submarine for the former President since ending his naval career in 1953. The original image dated to August 11. 2005 by JO1 Jennifer Spinner, USN.
