Since fitting the initial 3 posts my fences have been battered by storms and these post supports have kept the fence in place. Design 1 - Fits very nicely onto the side of the fence post and is not obstrusive and is hardly visible once installed . . Once installed 400mm will be below ground level with 400mm above ground level for fixing to the post above ground. Our unique 3 sided ground anchor system is a fully welded, this spike can also be secured into the ground using concrete. Equally spaced fixing holes are drilled on each side of the spike to allow secure fixing onto your fence post using your own fixings or our optional extra fixing kit .

Design 4 - Our premium XL extra strong spike is designed to give you more height support and extra strength , with a generous 600mm above ground, 300mm below ground and a 300mm wide cross member , fabricated to bypass existing concrete post balls, so you don’t need to destruct the base balls from the post . Simply concrete into place in the ground then screw the upright section to the fence post . Our unique 3 sided ground anchor system is a fully welded , providing an ultra strong 8 point box section to angle arrangement . Our 8 point welded joint steel support system will ensure superior strength and once installed will last the lifetime of your fence once attached to the posts with coachbolts and concrete is set . Equally spaced fixing holes are drilled on each side of the spike to allow secure fixing onto your fence post using your own fixings or our optional extra fixing kit .
Optional Extra Support Extension Bar - Our standard extension bar made from 50mm x 5mm thick steel is 600mm long. Extends the Post Pal support height and gives you even more strength & support above ground . Supplied with equally spaced fixing holes .Please do not buy the support extension bar without a repair spike , our extension bars are only suitable for use with our spikes and not on their own.
Optional Extra Fitting Kit – We recommend this kit is purchased with your spike , to give you the same high quality as the spikes we supply . Our fitting kit includes a sufficient quantity of 40mm long zinc plated corrosion resistant screwed bolts to fix the spike(s) and any optional extra support bars purchased onto your existing post , 10 x 300mm long hold in place tie wraps/kit are also included.
Optional Coating
We can supply our spikes & extension bars uncoated or coated , allowing you the flexibility & option to coat with your own colours . When making a decision note that uncoated steel will last longer than your wooden fence posts will ever last. Uncoated steel will rust and will show a unique patina colour on your spike. We can also coat the spike & extension bar in zinc based black coating .Please just select the coating option you require.

- Is this Post Pal system easy to install ? Yes , anyone who can use a hammer and screw driver can install this. Tye wrap the spike onto the post you want to secure and drive the spike down with the mallet , once fully driven down into the ground you then use your preferred fixing screws to screw the spike onto the fence post . There's no messy holes to dig .
- How far does the Post Pal spike go into the ground ? All Post Pal units can be driven into the ground to a depth of 400mm. If you want a longer length we can make these to your own specific design requirements. Please just ask us via the message centre before you buy.
- How long does it take to install ? If you have all your tools at site you can have the post pal support securely installed in 5-10 minutes
- Are the hammer lugs strong ? All hammer lugs are fully welded on the Post Pal for extra strength

Post Pal Installation Instructions – It’s so Simple !
The PostPal spike system is so simple to fit in less than 10 minutes . Just follow the simple instructions below ;
o Have at hand enough tye wraps to connect the spike to your post securely , 4 x M8 coachbolts or M8 screws x 50mm long (minimum). If you have purchased an extension bars have additional coachbolts to suit your post height & hole configuration.
o Position the spike against the fence post corner and gently tap into the ground via the hammer lug to a 75mm depth using a suitable hammer or mallet. Then Tie wrap the spike to the post so the spike is hard against the post corner , ensure tye wraps are at the base of the spike above the hammer lug and at the mid point above the hammer lug
o The spike is now ready to be driven to the final depth. Using a hammer or mallet drive the spike through the ground until the hammer lug is just below the surface. If cementing in place ensure the hammer lug is 50mm into the cement mix as it acts as the cement anchor.
o Screw in the coach bolts through all spike holes / extension bar holes
