The device emulates car's ESCL (steering Column Lock Signal) Simple and inexpensive solution to a common problem with Steering Locks. Compatible with Ford CD4 platform cars (Mondeo, S-max, Galaxy, etc) starting from 2014 and up. The original SCL connector has 4 pins, usually coloured blue

For the following cars: 

• Ford Mondeo 2014 - 2021
• Ford S-MAX 2015 - 2019
• Ford Galaxy 2016 - 2019

Most of the time it is simply Plug&Play. In some cases it is necessary to clear the fault code: 

Push the START button, and the GREEN LED must blink, if the RED LED blinked then there is an error. You will have to clear it with a diagnostic tool or you can reset it by disconnecting the battery and connecting it again.
