How to open and close the Foldaway machine: 

• Make sure the handle is unfolded and at the top of the machine. 
• Pull down the side of the platform from the center using the finger grooves as a guide. 
• Once horizontal, push both sides of the platform in toward the center of the machine to lock them in place. 
• To fold away, pull the sides away from the center using the finger grooves and fold them up to secure them in place. 

This machine is constructed with the same quality as the other Big Shot machines from Sizzix. It has steel rollers, an alloy roller housing, solid steel gears, and an ABS (thermoplastic polymer) plastic exterior. 

How to care for the Foldaway machine:

Over time, the machine may become dirty and/or dusty. To clean, use only a small amount of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) poured on a clean paper towel. With another clean, dry paper towel, wipe off any residue. Never use bleach or abrasive cleaners on the machine. The machine DOES NOT need to be oiled or lubricated.

• Read all the instructions before using the machine. 
• Always place and operate the machine on a clean, flat surface. 
• Do not overload the machine. 
• Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
