Describe
The Oil Pan Gasket is the seal between the conversion gasket set / lower gasket set. Its role is to prevent air leakage from the cylinder seals and to prevent leakage of coolant and oil flowing from the body to the cylinder head. The cylinder head gasket is subjected to the pressure generated by tightening the cylinder head bolts, and is subject to the high temperature and high pressure of the combustion gases in the cylinder, as well as corrosion by the oil and coolant.
