Brand New! Replacement Top Screen for Nintendo DS Lite w/ Speakers Pre-Soldered - Choose Your Color

The speakers of a DS Lite are integrated into the circuitry of the top screen assembly and come soldered together from the factory. Most vendors sell replacements for the top screen without the speakers, requiring the user to either solder them on themselves, or pay someone to do it for them. This is unfortunate, because it ends up being a barrier to folks without the necessary equipment or expertise in completing an otherwise simple repair.

This listing offers the same high-quality screen assembly with the speakers professionally pre-soldered and ready to go. Each have been thoroughly tested and packaged carefully to preserve the fragile ribbon cables. This is the same model I use to refurbish the consoles I sell and have proven their worth many times over. If your DS Lite has any of the following issues, this is most likely the part you'll need to fix it.

-       - When powering your console on, the bottom screen flashes briefly then shuts off

-       - Your top screen shows obvious damage such as dead pixels, cracks, or glitchy graphics

-       - Your speakers are blown

Please note: If the issue is that your console does not produce any audio at all, this is often caused simply by debris being stuck in the headphone jack, which can be easily fixed. Before you replace the screen, try cleaning out the headphone jack by inserting a pair of headphones about 10-20 times. If your audio works after doing that, you shouldn’t need to replace your screen. If not, there may be a larger issue at hand. If your current bezel is in suitable condition to transfer over, you can choose to purchase only the screen assembly itself. If not, you can pick a color of your choice to have one applied to the new screen.

Colors available at present include Black, White, Coral Pink, Metallic Pink, Silver, Ice Blue, and Navy (Enamel) Blue. These are used OEM parts pulled from scrapped DS Lite consoles, so please be advised that their condition may vary slightly from those shown in the pictures. Each have been carefully inspected to ensure acceptable condition.

If you will be transferring your old bezel over, you can remove it from the old screen by pinching the adhesive on the bottom right corner and carefully pulling up until it separates from the screen. If done properly, the bezel and adhesive should come away together as a single piece. Use the shell to align it to the new screen, apply gentle pressure around the perimeter, and you should be good to go.
