3 guitar picks from Eddie Van Halen.

I worked for Showco out of Dallas and Showlites out of London, from 1978 to 1984. I toured 20 countries with most of the top bands. I was a lighting roadie. I included a picture of the itinerary and my laminated pass to prove I was on the tour. Those of you serious collectors, will know that the first pick pictured was from 1979. I did their Fair Warning tour in 1982. So how did I get a 1979 pick? You must understand that back then, picks were not constantly changing. When they got new picks, they just added them to the box where they kept the picks. It was not unusual for them to have picks from multiple tours. None of the guitar roadies I knew back then, saw the guitar picks as serious collectable items. Girls would show their tits for a pick, but that was the extent of their value. Their primary concern was not running out! So the talent never had an abundance of picks available during the show. That started changing dramatically by the mid '80s. KISS for example, will have several versions of picks for the same tour. (I did 3 tours with KISS) I got old picks from KISS, RATT, ZZ Top & Journey.

Of all the tours I worked, Van Halen was my favorite tour!
