Original old folding map from 1949, published by J Bartholomew of Edinburgh, of Anglesey, North Wales, measuring 375 mm x 300 mm (14.5" x 12") when unfolded, including borders.
The map has been carefully extracted from a no longer usable dis-bound "Ward Lock's" travel guide book. No significant wearing of the map although some ageing and wear is inevitable, for a map nearly 75 years old. Two minor tears each less than 25 mm to two creases on right side of map (just visible in photographs). There is no unrelated print on the reverse sides. Additional width to top right border is where map was attached to the guide book.
