I always ship in Wednesdays and Fridays unless my store is on vacation.  Sometimes I am able to ship on Tuesdays and Saturdays depending on child care.

Also shipping has gone up and isn't coming down.  One item costs more than $4 to send to most states.  Also, it is ebay who collects taxes not me personally.
