The Celestron Astromaster 114 EQ is ideal for a range of uses, including 

looking at the craters on the Moon, 100s of double stars, Moons around Jupiter , 

and many deep sky objects (away from street lights) including rich field star clusters 

and even some brighter galaxies and nebula.

Two eyepieces include an erect image 20mm. We would recommend upgrading 

to a 25 or 32mm plossl eyepiece at some point when you wish to upgrade.

Very clear instructions for set up. You only need set up once, then the night sky 

awaits you.
